All stays are a temporary license for recreational vehicle lodging — no landlord-tenant relationship is created, and the park address may not be used for residency, mail, or official records. Westhaven RV Park does not accept or hold mail or packages for guests.
Arrival & departure
- Arrival is permitted any time after 12:00 PM; departure is by 11:00 AM. There is no early-arrival staging area — guests arriving early must make off-site arrangements.
- Guests staying 30 days or longer must complete a monthly guest agreement and registration prior to occupancy.
Payments, billing & taxes
- Monthly site fees are due on the 1st of each month. Daily and weekly stays must remain prepaid; extensions must be paid in full before the stay continues.
- The park is authorized to charge the card on file for unpaid rent, utilities, fees, fines, damages, or cleanup costs.
- A $12 per day late fee applies beginning the day after payment is due. Returned payments incur a $50 fee.
- Applicable Washington state and local lodging taxes apply where required by law.
- No refunds are issued for early departure, eviction for rule violations, or unused prepaid time unless required by law.
Deposits & checkout inspection
- A $200 park deposit is required for extended (monthly) stays, and may be applied toward unpaid balances, damage, trash removal, excessive cleaning, pet-waste cleanup, or rule-violation fines.
- Site inspections are typically completed within 3 days of checkout; final charges or refunds are generally processed within 7 days after inspection.
Cancellation policy
Daily & weekly bookings:
- 60+ days before arrival: full refund less a $45 cancellation fee.
- 15–59 days before arrival: half the booking total is refunded; half is retained.
- 14 days or less before arrival: the full booking total is retained.
Monthly bookings (28+ days):
- 30+ days before arrival: full refund less a $45 cancellation fee.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: the first month’s total is retained; any excess is refunded.
Monthly stays
- Monthly stays require background-check approval, vehicle/RV verification, and emergency contact information. Background-check fees are charged to the guest and are non-refundable.
- Monthly guests re-register every 30 days, and a minimum 14-day written move-out notice is required.
Pets
- Maximum two dogs per site, at $50 per stay, per pet. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and leashed (6 ft max).
- Pets may not be tied to trees or structures or left unattended outdoors, and must stay inside the RV during quiet hours. Immediate waste cleanup is required (cleanup fees may apply).
- Service animals as defined by law are permitted and are not subject to pet restrictions; behavior, safety, and control standards still apply.
Occupancy, visitors & children
- Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child per site unless approved by management. Visitors must depart by 10:00 PM.
- Children must be supervised at all times. Subleasing, site transfers, and re-listing any site on third-party platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Hipcamp, etc.) are prohibited.
Conduct, noise & speed
- Speed limit is 5 MPH. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Disorderly conduct, illegal activity, harassment, or possession/use of illegal controlled substances may result in immediate removal without refund.
Vehicles & parking
- Maximum one vehicle per site. No parking on grass, roadways, or emergency access routes; no inoperable, unregistered, or abandoned vehicles.
- Vehicle repairs are not permitted on park property. Towing complies with applicable Washington law.
RV condition, site use & modifications
- RVs must be in good operational condition and capable of being moved within 24 hours on request. Tarps, temporary coverings, and exterior window A/C units are not permitted.
- Sites must be kept clean and clutter-free. No permanent or semi-permanent structures (decks, sheds, skirting, fencing, satellite dishes, etc.) without prior written approval.
Utilities, sewer & winter use
- Only park personnel may work on pedestals or infrastructure; guests may not modify utility hookups, sewer, water, or electrical systems.
- Sewer connections must be sealed and leak-free. Guests are responsible for freeze protection and securing outdoor items. Complimentary Wi-Fi is a courtesy and is not guaranteed.
Laundromat
- The on-site laundromat is available to registered guests and the general public; posted hours apply.
- Please keep it clean, don’t leave laundry unattended (items left over 1 hour may be removed), and report any equipment issues to management rather than attempting repairs.
Fire safety, firearms, smoking, generators & drones
- Firearms must remain secured and in compliance with Washington law; discharge is prohibited. Fireworks, open burning, drones, and BB/pellet/airsoft guns are prohibited.
- Dispose of smoking materials safely (no littering of cigarette waste). Generators require management approval; approved grills and fire pits must never be left unattended.
Trash & environmental standards
- Trash must be bagged and placed in dumpsters. No bulk dumping, hazardous-waste disposal, debris burning, or environmental hazards.
Liability & insurance
- To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, guests assume all risks of RV-park occupancy and agree to indemnify and hold the park harmless from claims arising from their actions, visitors, or pets.
- Guests are strongly encouraged to maintain RV liability and property insurance; the park assumes no responsibility for uninsured losses.
Photography
- Common areas may be photographed for operational or marketing purposes; there is no expectation of privacy in outdoor common areas. Guests may not photograph or record other guests, their RVs, or belongings without consent.
Fee schedule
- Returned payment — $50 per occurrence
- Pet-waste non-cleanup — $50 per occurrence
- Late payment — $12 per day
- Unauthorized structure removal — cost of removal + 15% admin fee
- Excessive site cleanup at checkout — actual cost of labor and materials
- Overflow parking — per posted rate
- Towing — actual towing costs + admin fee
Entry, inspections & rule updates
Management may enter sites for maintenance, inspection, emergencies, safety, or operational needs. Rules may be updated at any time; the posted version governs, and continued occupancy constitutes acceptance.
